Vegan cinnamon roll

This famous American desert is traditionally prepared with butter and white sugar. I love it, but for my health I decided to test a fairly simple vegan recipe. I was bluffing, this recipe is so comforting, simple and delicious. After a long day’s work, nothing more soothing and reconstructive.

Modus operandi : a traditional American brioche turned into a vegan brioche

*for the brioche:
-400g of flour
-15g baker’s yeast
-270g vegetable milk
-40g coconut sugar
-60g coconut oil
-1/2 teaspoon salt

*For the filling:
-2 teaspoon cinnamon
-40g coconut oil
-60g coconut sugar
-1 pinch of salt
-50g vegetable milk

For the bun, start by heating the milk in a saucepan.
Pour the yeast into the milk and mix.
In a container, mix the flour, sugar, salt, oil and to finish the milk-yeast mixture.
Cover the bowl with a cloth and let stand 1 hour in a warm place.

For garnish, combine cinnamon, sugar and salt in a container.
Once the brioche paste is lifted, spread it in a rectangle.
Spread the coconut oil on the dough.
Then spread the prepared filling over the coconut oil.
Roll the dough in a wide direction to obtain a flange.
Cut 3 cm thick slices and place on a baking sheet.
Spread the slices of the vegetable milk and let stand for 30 minutes.
Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C.
Let cool and enjoy.
